How to Care for Your VIVA Leotards

We want your VIVA garment to maintain its beauty and performance for as long as possible. However, like all high-performance apparel—especially those with intricate designs, foil details, and unique fabric combinations—it requires special care.

By following these simple Do’s and Don’ts after each use, your VIVA garment will stay looking fabulous!

DO:

• DO gently hand wash in cold water only.

• DO wash your leotard on its own to avoid any potential damage.

• DO always turn your garment inside out before washing.

• DO use a small amount of mild detergent designed for delicate fabrics.

• DO ensure the garment is dried promptly after washing.

DON’T:

• DO NOT machine wash your leotard.

• DO NOT use bleach, harsh detergents, or fabric softeners—these can cause fading or color bleeding. Never apply detergent directly to the fabric; always dilute according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

• DO NOT wring, scrub, tumble dry, or iron the garment.

• DO NOT leave the garment to soak in water.

• DO NOT dry on a radiator or let it remain wet for too long.

Additional Notes:

• Sublimated fabrics are delicate and can be prone to pilling, especially when in contact with rough surfaces like Velcro or during repetitive movements. Always wash your leotard inside out to minimize abrasion with other materials. Avoid scrubbing or rubbing the fabric while washing to preserve its quality.

• VIVA leotards are made from special, delicate fabrics, and as such, care should be taken to maintain their integrity. We are not responsible for items that have not been washed in accordance with these instructions.

Please remember that our garments are designed with care and attention to detail, so treating them with the same level of care will ensure they last longer and continue to look their best.
